Theater

We have built a robust theater department, and are proud that children will be exposed to a variety of theater throughout their PS17 years:

• Full-time certified theater teacher, who in an Arthur Miller scholarship recipient
• Disney Musicals in Schools partner
• Shakespeare in the Park performances
• Puppetry
• Rosie's Theater Kids partner (currently the only school outside of Manhattan!)
• Queens Theater after-school partner
• New Victory Theater Schools partner
• Alvin Ailey Education partner 
• Multiple theater field trips
